Multifactor Authentication - Initial Setup
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a secondary security method used by the Seminary, which utilizes a second form of authentication when signing into new devices. It will typically either send a text message containing a unique 6-digit code for you to enter or you could opt for an automated phone call to approve the sign-in request or you could make use of the Microsoft Authenticator mobile application. These additional sign-in methods ensure that even if someone were to gain access to your email address and password, they would not be able to sign in on a new device without having a way of receiving your MFA code.
First, sign into your PTS Account (the below photo is showing how it would look when signing into Outlook's web version)

Then you may be prompted to identify your account as a personal, school, or workplace account. For all PTS use, the choice would be "Work or School account"

Then you'll be brought to a PTS-branded login portal (shown below). Please use your full PTS email address and account password to successfully sign-in.

A successful sign-in will now prompt you to select how to receive a code for MFA.
